Donations are NECESSARY for the Dry Dock to Operate.
I’m not the man I ought to be, but thank God I’m not the man I used to be! Part of that change in me has happened due to the relationship I have made/built with people at the Dry Dock.
The Dry Dock is a place where I can feel like me!
The Dry Dock is where I make new friends like Ruth, where we talk about our favorite books.
The Dry Dock is an amazing place to make solid connections in recovery.
The Dry Dock is a place where we are not judged, it is family here
Our new friends in the fellowship. Our common effort is recovery. Clean, we face the world together.
Recovery Support room in the heart of Port Huron.
The Dry Dock is an outside organization, separate and distinct from AA, NA, Al-Anon, or any other 12-Step group. Each meeting held at the Dry Dock is conducted as an autonomous group, and each group donates to the Dry Dock to help pay expenses.
The Dry Dock can not function without people like you. Volunteers are needed for special events as well as daily operations. Time commitment can vary from an hour or two at an event or a 3-4 hour shift once or more a week. As a volunteer, you can learn new skills, utilize your expertise and make community connections.
You do not have to be involved in a 12-Step program to volunteer your time. Anyone can inquire for a volunteer position – but all volunteers must be free from substance use.
All of the Dry Dock functions are performed by volunteers (and funded totally by donations).
By donating to the Dry Dock you not only help yourself, you invest in the lives of countless others. Many, seeking help, come through these doors struggling with addictions and searching for a new way of life. Your support makes that possible.
